Ethan's Story

Ethan, the shy dog slated for euthanasia, is coming along. Under the care and patience of his caregiver, Bobby, at Angels of Assisi, he is doing very well with going outside to use the bathroom, accepting treats, and not escalating into panic mode when he sees a leash.

He has also learned to go up the stairs, but still needs to be carried coming down. This morning he got to hang out in the meet and greet room, and once his initial nervousness passed, he got down to exploring with the amazing hound nose of his.

It looks like he will be heading to his foster home tomorrow, and we could not be happier for him. Keep up the good work, sweet boy, and it is OK to do so at your own pace. We're in no hurry.

To ease another's heartache is to forget one’s own.
