Thank you to the team from United Healthcare for all the donations, along with the best girt of all-  time spent with the adoption center animals. We appreciate you!

  1. I'm just curious as to why you would take a kitten from the RCACP when it was pending transfer to another rescue that had a foster home already lined up. Were there no other cats or kittens in need of rescue from the pound? I find that very hard to believe.

  2. We have no idea what you are talking about?

  3. a kitten you pulled just a couple of days ago.. was akready going to a rescue + foster.

  4. We pull animals from RCACP often, and do not take ones that are being pulled by another rescue. If you are speaking of an orange kitten that was being teased by staff until she started hissing at them, yes we did pull that kitten.

Barn Cat Buddies may have said they would help with her, however we do work closely with Barn Cat Buddies and they would rather the kitten go to a home than to a barn home. This particular kitten was labeled as feral, and certain staff members were agitating her and making her hiss and lash out. Once out of her kennel, she settled down and was very friendly. I am certain that you can confirm with Barn Cat Buddies that they were fine with the decision.
