To make a long story short...

A sweet dog was seen on the Roanoke Pound's website.
Teresa made some calls.

Mastiffs to Mutts, a rescue group in Pennsylvania, said they could take her.

With the help of Jess, Franklin County Humane Society will do her medical check.

But... she needed a 2 week foster home to recover from a respiratory infection.

No worries, Wendy sweet-talked her dad into taking her (he can never resist that daughter of his!).

Wendy picked up the sweet dog from the pound. Her name is now Rosa. She will be transported by the wonderful Erin Silks in 2 weeks.

And so, another life saved. Thank you Teresa, Jess, Wendy, Wendy's most awesome dad, Erin, and the never say never folks at the Franklin County Humane Society. We call you heroes, but know that you are so much more than that to one sweet dog named Rosa.

Those who are quite satisfied sit still and do nothing; those who are not quite satisfied are the sole benefactors of the world.
