Look Who Came To Visit- Trooper Biscuit!

Trooper got to hang out with the Angels of Assisi staff today, and he is doing wonderful! He has turned into an active one year old pup, walks well on a leash, loves to visit with everyone and gets into everything. He has gained 7 pounds, and his wounds are healing nicely. He may need a skin graft to his lip, and we'll keep you posted on that development. Overall, the Vet's could not be more pleased with his progress.

Oh, and guess what.... the little pitbull pup that was probably used as a "bait dog" and torn to pieces....loves other dogs.

  5. Wow I'm sending this link to everyone in my email list. I have chills up and down my spine when I read that he's walking on a leash and likes other dogs. Animals teach us compassion and forgiveness and if we could only learn from them. Thanks to all the wonderful vets and staff who made this happen. Thank you also to Lisa who never says 'we can't help'. You rock woman!!

  11. This is beyond awesome!! He deserves a special loving home and be an ambassador to speak out against dog fighting. Someone needs to pay dearly for this dog's suffering, and they will be judged. Thanks to all the guardian angels that have watched over him and did whatever it takes to get him where he is now. The world needs more people like you!

  13. What great news. All this little guy has been through and still loves other dogs and isn't fearful.
I hope they do find the low lives that did this to Trooper. As a owner of a dog that is mixed with Pit I can tell you it's a challenge to get people to be comfortable around her. She will bark at you but once you pet her head she is your friend for life.
Stay strong Trooper. Your in good hands now.

  14. I do so hope that our society doesn't JUST give a wrist slap for this one. I guess the electric chair is a bit harsh, though - BUT ..........
