Stanley Biscuit

Angels of Assisi has a program called "The Biscuit Fund". This fund was established so that animals seized in cruelty cases are provided the best medical care and diagnoses available, a safe haven for rehabilitation, and expert medical staff on hand to testify in court to prevent neglect and cruelty from happening to another animal. Angels of Assisi assists with many of these cases from Botetourt County and surrounding areas.

Animal Control Officers brought Stanley Biscuits to Angels of Assisi last week. He's going to need some serious surgery on his back end, but we're hopeful he will recover soon and be ready for adoption. He's a sweet little guy and ready for a new shot at life. Because of your caring and generosity, Angels of Assisi is able to help dogs like Stanley. We are especially grateful to Frost and Scout Biscuit for inspiring the fund that will help so many others. Be sure to read their story here.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
